Trump: I don't want war with Iran

US President Donald Trump has said it "seems" that Iran was behind the attack on Saudi Aramco oil facilities at Abqaiq and Khurais, but pointed out that it was too early to say. Trump denied he wanted to engage in a new conflict but said "sometimes we have to." .
Asked if Iran was responsible for the attack on the Aramco facilities, Trump said at a White House news conference on Monday evening: "It looks like this.

Trump said he did not want war with Iran, but pointed out that the United States had the best weapons, particularly fighter jets and missiles. He continued by saying: "The United States is more prepared" for any conflict than any other country in history, and explained: "With that said, we certainly love we want to avoid."
Trump reiterated his earlier remarks on Saudi Arabia that it should pay his country to protect it, suggesting they should pay if the United States launches military action. "It was an attack on Saudi Arabia, not an attack on us, but we will certainly help them. They are a great ally, and they have spent $ 400 billion on our country in recent years," he said.
"I think it's the responsibility of the Saudis. If someone like us will help them, I know the money will be paid for it. The truth is that the Saudis will have a big involvement if we decide to do something, and that includes payment, and they fully understand that."
Asked if the Saudis had promised to protect them, the US president said: "No, I don't promise the Saudis anymore." "We have to sit down with the Saudis and come up with something." He noted that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and other officials will visit Saudi Arabia soon.
