Trump: I can't believe Israel is spying on us

Following the publication of the US website "Politico" that Israel planted spy devices on Trump and those close to him
The US president said he did not believe the allegations that Israel was spying on the United States.
Trump said in press statements on Thursday evening: "I do not think that the Israelis are spying on us, it is difficult to believe that," according to the channel "free" US (official).

He continued: "Anything is possible, but I do not believe this, my relationship with Israel is excellent."

And Thursday, published "Politico" US officials believe that "the Israelis planted equipment in areas near the White House to spy on President Trump and those close to him."

Israel planted devices called Sting Ray, discovered in Washington in 2017, which are similar to cellular tower signals to intercept calls and text messages, the officials said.
Israel has categorically denied the reports. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "I have a guideline: don't spy on the United States."
What does the Politico report say?
The espionage allegations appeared in an exclusive story of the US news site Politico on Thursday.

The story recalls that intelligence reports said that the identity trackers of international mobile phone subscribers (IMSI hunters), known as Stingray, were found near the presidential headquarters and other sensitive sites around Washington DC over the past two years.

These devices work like cell towers, trick phones to send their location and identity information, as well as contact content and data used.

One former official, who spoke to the site anonymously, said the Stingray Towers were designed to spy on President Trump. "It is not clear if they have succeeded."
